The Service
The services offered by Zimmersuche Berlin are for visitors of Berlin and for people offering
holiday flats, private rooms or the like. It is our aim to bring together both parties on our
homepage. Using our booking system a contract can be concluded only between landlord and
guest. The payment regulations is on commission basis. That means, you only pay us, if your
room or holiday flat was booked using our services and booking system.
How can I register as a landlord?
1. Click on Vermieter Info and further on Vermieter werden. (German Page)
2. Fill in the form and send it.
3. Now you will receive a password and an object ID (also sent via e-mail)
4. Now you can log in and change the saved information.
5. Your object advertisement will be online, after checking and receiving your pictures.
6. We need 4 pictures from your object, you want to rent to visitors. To send those pictures to
us, you have the following options:
• loading up using a form which is accessible from you log-in area on our homepage
• via e-mail
Please note, that pictures of high quality are the basis for successfully renting your object.
How do I know, that my object is booked?
The guest will immediately contact you to clarify everything else you via e-mail with your guests.
How do I get into my personal log-in area?
Click on Vermieter Info and further on Vermieter log-in, enter your object ID and password.
I forgot my object ID?
Go to your advertisement on our homepage. Your object ID is the object-number, which is
written on the top or when clicking on object-preview on the left side.
I forgot my password?
Go to landlord log-in and click on password forgotten, enter your object ID and your e-mail
address. After sending this form we will send you your password via e-mail.
Notice: The e-mail address must be identical with the one you used when you registered at
Zimmersuche Berlin.
Can I offer more than one object?
Yes, you can appoint more than one room or flat at Zimmersuche Berlin. When appointing yet another
object, you receive a new password for this one. For log-in you only need one of the passwords and
the respective ID number (object number). Once logged in your personal area you have access to all
your objects. There you can also change the passwords and create your own one which is valid for
all objects.
Can I change my password?
When you first register your password will be generated automatically. After you logged in your
personal area, you can change your password there. We do not recommend to do so, due to security
reasons. In any case, please do not use any easy to guess passwords!
Can I delete the advertisement of my object?
You can delete your object at any time in your personal area. There is no time limit you need to be
aware of. But in case of any bookings generated, you still need to make your object available for
this time.
VAT (value added tax)?
According to German VAT law (Kleinunternehmerreglung § 19 Abs. 1 Umsatzsteuergesetz)
Zimmersuche Berlin is exempted from VAT. That means that we do not bill VAT and therefore VAT
is not included in our invoices.
